AI Disclaimer

WayGenie uses AI to suggest itineraries and generate destination imagery. This notice explains what that means for you and what you should not rely on it for.

1. Suggestions Only

AI-generated itineraries, activity recommendations, packing lists, and destination summaries are suggestions produced by a language model. They are a starting point, not a finished travel plan and not professional advice.

2. Not Professional Advice

WayGenie is not a travel agent, a tour operator, a doctor, a lawyer, or a government source. AI output must not be relied on as professional or authoritative advice on any of the following. Please verify with the appropriate authoritative source:

5. Where AI Output Comes From

AI itinerary text is generated by Anthropic (Claude API). AI imagery is generated by OpenAI. See our Privacy Policy for what we send to each provider and what they do with it.

6. Your Data and AI

We do not send your name, email, or other identifying data to the AI providers; only the trip details you have entered (destination, dates, party size, interests, budget). Both providers contractually undertake not to train on data submitted via their commercial APIs.

7. Liability

Subject to your statutory consumer rights and the limitations in our Terms of Service, we are not liable for any loss caused by reliance on AI output. The AI is a tool, not a guarantee.
